Originally constructed between 1905 and 1908, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois recently underwent a $25 million restoration that was many years in the making. The project has received multiple awards including the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award for Restoration from Landmarks Illinois, the ASHRAE Illinois Chapter Excellence in Engineering Award, and the Village of Oak Park Historic Preservation Commission's Historic Preservation Award for Restoration. 

APT WGLC is excited to welcome key members of the restoration team including representatives from Berglund Construction, Architectural Consulting Engineers, and EverGreene Architectural Arts as they discuss the challenges and rewards of working on such an iconic masterpiece.

The event is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served. Street and near-by pay lot parking is available.
