      <title>Alice Millar Chapel Window Restoration Scaffold Tour (Thursday, August 13, 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;" face="Helvetica"&gt;&lt;span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody"&gt;APT WGLC invites members to join us for a jobsite tour of the Alice Millar Chapel North Window Restoration on Northwestern University's Evanston Campus. The window was severely damaged in a storm in August 2024. Following the storm, the stained glass and limestone mullions and tracery were carefully disassembled. The stained glass has been restored off site, and limestone mullion and tracery reinstallation is in progress. Strategic structural modifications have also been implemented.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;The reconstruction team includes Northwestern University, Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Berglund Construction, and Daprato Rigali Studios.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;" face="Helvetica"&gt;&lt;span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody"&gt;If you are not a member, please consider joining to attend this event and take advantage of other membership benefits throughout the year. &lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;" face="Helvetica"&gt;APT WGLC will meet at 4:00pm on the sidewalk in front of Alice Millar Chapel at 1870 Sheridan Road on Northwestern University's Evanston Campus&lt;span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;&lt;font&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;&lt;font&gt;This tour includes climbing scaffolding stair towers on an active construction site. Please wear appropriate footwear (close-toed shoes), and bring&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;a hardhat if you have one. A limited number of hard hats will be available for loan on site. If you do not have appropriate PPE, you may be required to stay at ground level.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;" face="Helvetica"&gt;Please note that registration is limited to 15 members.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 14px;" face="Helvetica"&gt;Street parking is available near the site, and there is a paid public garage in the block to the south. Please do not park in the Northwestern or adjacent building lots/spaces without proper authorization or you may be ticketed or towed.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>2026 Symposium: Adaptive Reuse and Rehabilitation (Friday, September 18, 2026)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;font&gt;T&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font&gt;he Association of Preservation Technology, Western Great Lakes Chapter invites you to join us for our 2026 Symposium - &lt;em&gt;Adaptive Reuse and Rehabilitation&lt;/em&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The event will be held&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;at Pillsbury A-Mill in Minneapolis on Friday, September 18, 2026.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;" color="#000000"&gt;Registration begins at 8:15 am, opening remarks begin at 8:30 am. The program will include a tour of the adaptively reused historic mill, and will conclude at 4:00 pm.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" style="font-size: 14px;" color="#000000"&gt;&lt;span&gt;This program will provide 5 CEUs, pending AIA approval. Lunch and light breakfast will be provided during the program.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
